Sherry Finzer will be visiting the Front Range of CO and blessing us with her healing music during her national tour. Sherry Finzer has always embraced the transformative power of music. As a child, she endured trauma but found solace and strength in playing the flute, which became her refuge during the challenging years of junior high and high school. Although she paused her musical pursuits to focus on raising a family, her passion for music never waned. In 2000, she rekindled her love for the flute, immersing herself in its study once again. This renewed journey expanded her artistry, moving from classical foundations to improvisation and collaboration with musicians across diverse genres.
Her path eventually led her to explore music’s potential to heal, both physically and emotionally. In 2009, she released her first album, Sanctuary, within the New Age music genre. Recognizing the profound benefits her music provided, she founded her record label, Heart Dance Records, in 2015 and established Higher Level Media, a thriving radio promotions company.
The pandemic in 2020 marked a turning point in Sherry’s work. As one of the first musicians invited to live stream on the Insight Timer Meditation App, she connected with listeners who shared powerful stories of how her flute melodies eased their struggles with grief, depression, physical pain, tinnitus, and other conditions. Inspired by these experiences, she began traveling nationwide to offer sound baths and healing performances.
Today, Sherry provides private and group sound healing sessions, both in person in the Phoenix/Sedona, AZ, and Denton, TX areas, as well as online via Zoom.
